Preparing a facility for regular cleaning — Afrodita Cleaning
A practical checklist before the first visit — access, priority zones, cleanliness standard and communication with the team.
A strong start saves time and reduces misunderstandings. When a manager or owner agrees access, priorities and the expected standard in advance, the result is predictable from the first week.
What to agree before the first visit
Before regular cleaning begins, agree on:
- how the team enters the facility (keys, code, reception, contact person)
- working hours and days of the week
- priority zones (entrances, stairwells, washrooms, kitchens, lifts, offices)
- what is out of scope (private flats, locked stores, sensitive equipment)
A clear on-site contact — porter, manager or appointed person — speeds up small questions without stopping the whole schedule.
Preparing the space
You do not need to “fix” the whole facility before arrival. It is enough to:
- clear walkways and access to washrooms and storage rooms
- mark zones that must not be touched
- leave water and power available where needed
- inform residents or staff about cleaning days and hours
In residential buildings, a short notice (notice board or email) helps people know what to expect and whom to contact.
Cleanliness standard and follow-up
Define what “tidy” means to you: frequency by zone, level of detail (e.g. stairwells daily, glass periodically) and how extra work is requested. Regular maintenance works best when the scope is written and agreed, not assumed.
After the first weeks, agree a short feedback loop — what works and what needs strengthening. Small corrections early prevent larger frustration later.
Next step
If you are planning regular maintenance for a building or office in Zagreb and the surrounding area, send an enquiry with the address, size and desired frequency. We prepare an offer based on the real scope, not a generic package.
